Congratulations to the JH Student of the Month for September: Olivia Vonderheide, the daughter of Jason and Angie Vonderheide, was named the September Junior High Student of the Month. She is in the eighth grade. Her teachers nominated her because she works hard, is always willing to participate in class, works well with her classmates, and always has a smile on her face. She has the sweetest soul, is always thinking of others, and brings joy to whatever she is involved in. She participates in golf, volleyball, Rapid Fire Volleyball Club, cheerleading, Stew-Stras Loyalty Club and St. Mary’s youth group. Her favorite class is reading. Reading class is her favorite because she enjoys reading and her favorite teacher teaches it. In her free time she likes to read, paint, draw, play sports, play with her cat, hang out with friends and family, play Dress to Impress on Roblox with her BFF, travel, and most of all eat! In the future she wants to go to college and possibly get a sports scholarship. Her favorite school experience has been getting to play volleyball. Volleyball has brought her hours of fun with her friends. It also gave her the chance to get to know Karly, Edie and Sienna. Volleyball practice was so fun. Karly and Edie would frequently be doing Tik Tok dances before practice. At Rapid Fire Volleyball she got to spend time with Sienna. Thanks to volleyball she got to make wonderful memories with the girls on and off the court and they had an amazing coach. Now to share some fun facts. If you ever won the lottery how would you spend it? “I would save it for my future, and buy my best friend and I expensive cats.” If a genie was able to grant you one wish, what would it be? “I already have everything I need so it would be to give peace and hope to the families that lost their daughters last summer.” If you had one super power, which one would it be and why? “Teleportation, so I could go anywhere I wanted at any time.”
