Callie Holland, the daughter of Doug and Tricia Holland, was named the February Junior High School Student of the Month. She is a seventh grader. Her teachers nominated her because she works hard on a daily basis, isn't afraid to tackle new, hard concepts and is a stand out amongst her peers. She also shows kindness, and has a good attitude. Her teachers have seen a lot of growth in her this year and she has a bright future. She participates in basketball, softball, volleyball, club volleyball and travel softball. Her favorite subject is reading because her teacher is fun and it isn't too hard. In her free time she likes to watch TV or hang out with friends. When she graduates she wants to go to college. Her favorite school experience has been any of the field trips, because she gets to spend time with her friends.
