JH SOM - January

Cami Helmink, the daughter of Tony and Kari Helmink, was named the January Junior High Student of the Month.  She is in eighth grade.  Her teachers nominated her because she is positive and cheerful. She willingly pairs up and works with some of the students that struggle academically. Every day she is willing to go the extra mile to help others.  She has a very good sense of humor and takes jokes well.  She participates in Cheerleading, Volleyball, Rapid Fire Volleyball and Loyalty Club.  Her favorite subject in school is P.E.  In her free time she likes to hang out with friends, play volleyball, play with her cats and go out to eat with her mom.  In the future she doesn't know for sure, but right now she is interested in being an Operating Room Nurse.  Her favorite experience in school has been the last day of school falling on her birthday and getting to see all of her friends.

Now to share some fun facts.

If you won the lottery how would you spend it?

"I would donate some to homeless and animal shelters, buy lots of food, and then save some for my future."

If a genie was able to grant you one wish, what would it be?

"To be super rich."

If you had one super power, which one would it be and why?

"To be able to teleport so I could go to McDonald's for lunch instead of eating school lunch."
